Respond to internal and external governance queries, including those from auditors. Participate in ad-hoc governance projects as required. Your Profile: +/- 10 years’ similar experience in the fund industry, preferably with significant exposure to governance matters. Master’s degree in Legal or Business Administration, or equivalent; or a Bachelor’s degree with at least 15 years’ relevant experience. Greenfield Luxembourg is seeking a Support Accountant to join a dynamic finance team on a part-time, interim basis. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced, business-facing environment supporting a portfolio of Luxembourg-based companies with assets in Germany. Role Overview The successful candidate will be responsible for managing accounting and financial reporting for approximately 25 companies, primarily SARLs. This maternity cover role is offered on a Four-days-per-week, in-office basis in Luxembourg Ville, from March until December. Remote work is not available. Key Responsibilities Prepare monthly management accounts, annual accounts, and quarterly reporting for the portfolio of companies in compliance with Luxembourg GAAP. Manage VAT filings, corporate tax submissions, and liaise with external auditors. Maintain accurate records of property income and expenditure and review capital expenditure. Assist with internal control processes and support the finance team with reporting, analysis, and board information. Ensure timely and accurate financial information is available for decision-making. Ad-hoc Administrative responsibilities. Requirements Minimum of 3 years post-qualification accounting experience, ideally with some in-house exposure. Proven ability to manage multiple entities and deliver accurate financial reporting with limited supervision. ​​​​​​​English is a must. Experience with Luxembourg GAAP and VAT; familiarity with CaseWare software is advantageous. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a pragmatic, commercial mindset. Highly organised, disciplined, and able to work independently in a part-time capacity. Contract Details Interim, part-time role (three days per week).
