SPV ACCOUNTANT– GLOBAL INVESTMENT COMPANY – NT422 Our client is a Global Investment firm, founded more than 15 years ago and employs approximately 400 people around the world. Located in nine countries, the company invest in a various range of companies at all stages of growth to offer long term profitable solutions. The Luxembourg office is composed by a small team of less than 10 ambitious and passionate people. Our client value the quality of work delivered to its final customers. They are all driven by the same passion and working towards common goals and values. They are currently looking for an SPV Accountant to strengthen their team and presence in Luxembourg.
The Role:
Review third-party administrators’ deliverables during quarterly and annual close cycles, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and timely remediation of issues.
Prepare materials for, and present at, quarterly board meetings; record decisions and follow-ups to drive execution.
Maintain a clear understanding of investment structures and terms to ensure correct accounting and high-quality reporting; surface and resolve technical points early.
Support annual audit processes by coordinating information requests and validating supporting documentation.
Track service-provider performance and quality; recommend process improvements and help embed efficient internal controls and best practices.
Monitor entity-level compliance across the portfolio, including statutory filings as well as corporate tax and VAT requirements.
Assist with payments, transfers, and cash positioning; oversee expense capture and analysis to ensure proper coding and approvals.
Partner with investment professionals, legal, tax, operations, and compliance to enable smooth transaction execution and high-quality communication across teams.
Contribute to operational and financial projects that enhance controls, speed, and reporting insight.
The Profile:
4–6 years’ Luxembourg experience in accounting functions—ideally a mix of corporate services, audit, or asset-management exposure.
Strong knowledge of Lux GAAP and Luxembourg entity structures; familiarity with other GAAPs is an advantage.
Proven experience preparing or reviewing financial statements and strengthening internal controls and processes.
Excellent English written and verbal communication; French or German is a plus.
Recognised professional qualifications (e.g., ACCA, CPA, CFA, OEC/IRE) are an asset.
High integrity, strong prioritisation, and attention to detail; comfortable handling volume and deadlines with a proactive, team-oriented mindset.
